As we head into the cooler months, our skin starts to react to the change in temperature. This is the time to give your skin some TLC and exfoliate it regularly.

But not too much! A couple of times a week is plenty, but it will help to remove any dry skin leaving your winter skin as smooth as anything!

Just a couple of tips -

- Be gentle. You don’t need to scrub hard to get results. Whether you’re using a physical exfoliator or an exfoliating acid, let the product do the work and always follow with a good moisturiser.

- Exfoliate at the right time. Evening is often a good choice, giving your skin time to recover overnight. Avoid exfoliating immediately before or after treatments that may already leave skin sensitive.

- Choose the right exfoliator for your skin. Sensitive or dry skin generally benefits from gentler products, while oily or congestion-prone skin may tolerate ingredients such as salicylic acid. If your skin stings, feels tight or looks unusually red afterwards, ease back.

Starting to think about the Christmas season?

There’s never a better time than the festive season to add a little sparkle to your look without going full tinsel-and-baubles. If you want to embrace the season in a chic, elevated way, here’s how to do it:

Deep berry, cranberry, emerald, gold — all gorgeous seasonal shades, just keep them refined. A smudged berry liner, a hint of green smoky shadow, or a gold inner-corner pop feels Christmassy while still sophisticated.

✨ 4. Balance Is Everything
If you’re adding sparkle to the eyes, keep the lips neutral. If you’re wearing a bold lip, let the eyes be soft. Christmas makeup doesn’t need to be loud to be beautiful.

✨ 5. Finishing Touch: The Soft Focus
Set everything with a fine mist and a touch of powder in the T-zone. This keeps your look fresh, smooth and photo-ready — ideal for all the festive get-togethers.
