Hi friends! ❤️

I know I’ve been a little quiet around here, but I’m still knee-deep in poppies! 🌺 And honestly, I figured posting the same poppies over and over might get a little lame. 🤭

At one point, I had almost 40 ready to go and thought I was ahead of the poppy rush. Well… I’m now down to less than 10, with a few more on the go! 😆

My daughter shared a post at her work, and a bunch of these poppies are finding their way to some pretty amazing nurses. ❤️

I have a feeling that after this weekend, they’ll all be spoken for! If time allows, I’ll try to make more by request, but for now, reach out while I still have some available — especially if you need one mailed out!

And to everyone who has purchased a poppy, THANK YOU. You’re supporting more than just my beadwork. You’re helping me give back to our Veterans while supporting my art, and that means a whole lot to me. ❤️🌺

Miigwetch, friends!

“Sometimes you just need the mountains, the crisp fall air, and a little time with Mother Earth to find your way back to yourself. 🌲⛰️🍂”

P.s, kicking myself for not bringing my beads 😆

🌲🍂 A weekend adventure with Mother Earth. 🍂🌲

I’m heading to the mountains for a little reset. Some crisp mountain air, the sound of water, the smell of fall, and a chance to slow down, reconnect, and breathe.

The first Time I went to this magical place, it was for my honeymoon; we stayed in a teepee. This time, we will explore a trapper's tent, or what this resort calls a Glamping tent!

The beads are staying home this weekend! My eyes will still be open, hunting for fallen feathers, interesting finds, and whatever little treasures Mother Earth decides to leave along my path.

Sometimes you need to step away from the beadwork, get out into the wild, and fill your own cup again.

Who knows what inspiration I’ll bring home with me? 🌿🍂

Time to hit the trails, breathe deep, and let nature do her thing. 🧡🌲

Is this a sign? 😆❤️
This is now the 3rd person who has reached out wanting to learn from me. And I’m starting to wonder if maybe I should follow this calling and see where it takes me. But where the heck do I start?

I already sit with a few ladies at our little beading circle on Thursdays, and I recently invited a new girl to join us. She’s the fourth-year student that reached out. and her first lesson is going really well! ❤️

It got me thinking… maybe I could open the door for more people to come learn.

Here’s where I get stuck. Supplies. I can’t always afford to provide everything out of my own pocket, and honestly, some of the supplies we have aren’t the best quality.

I also don’t want to be the person charging a mint for someone to learn this art. To me, beading is something we should be sharing and passing down, giving people the chance to find their own style, their own way, and their own connection to it. ❤️

So I’m reaching out to those of you who have experience teaching or hosting beading classes.

How did you get started?

Did you put together beginner kits?

Were there grants, donations, or community programs that helped?

And how did you keep the cost affordable for people wanting to learn?

I’m not looking to make a profit. I just want to make this art accessible to others without having to carry the whole cost myself.

Maybe this is the next step in my own journey, and I’d love to hear from those who have walked this path before me. ❤️🪡🧡
Let’s talk! 👇

Alright friends, let's talk BEADS! 🪡🧡

I'm curious… what's something you've always wanted to learn to bead, but haven't tried yet?

Maybe it's a new stitch, a certain design, working with different materials, or just figuring out how the heck some of us get those beads to behave! 😂

Let's hear it! Experienced beaders, beginners, and everyone in between — I want to know!

You never know what we might learn from each other. ❤️

I would love to learn the raised beading! Or a perfect wrap around my finished work

🩷 Okay friends, let’s talk beads for a minute!!

Did you know that even though Miyuki seed beads and Miyuki Delicas are BOTH size 11/0, they don’t actually sit the same?! 👀

Here’s the difference!

✨ Miyuki Seed Beads: These are rounder and add a little more texture and dimension to your beadwork. Great for florals, fringe, and traditional beadwork!

✨ Miyuki Delicas These are more like tiny little cylinders! They fit together tightly, making your designs look flatter, cleaner, and more even.
Perfect for loom work, pe**te, and those crisp geometric designs.

💕 HERE’S A LITTLE TIP! You can mix both for some beautiful depth and texture, BUT be careful when using them in the same row, especially when following a pattern. They sit differently and can throw off your design!

It’s little things like this that can make a BIG difference in your beadwork!

I’m curious… do you prefer working with seed beads or Delicas? Or do you use both? 👀👇

I love seed beads!

1147 FOLLOWERS?! 🧐❤️

You guys!! What is even happening?! 😂

Was it just LAST WEEK I was hoping to hit 1,000? And now we’re sitting at 1,147?! 😆

I’m honestly blown away. Seeing so many of you here, following along, supporting my work, and loving what I create is pretty damn amazing.

Thank you for being here, for sharing my work, and for helping this little community grow. ❤️

Now excuse me while I go back to my beads… because apparently, we’ve got a bigger audience to show them to! 😂🪡🧡

Seriously, thank you, friends. This means more than you know.

A little something I’m working on. 🧡🖤

There’s something about the contrast of the orange, black, and those tiny little details that I just love.

Sometimes it’s the smallest pieces that take the most patience. Bead by bead, row by row, watching the design come together.

What do you think, friends? ❤️

The orange shirts have been worn; the day has passed, but the truth doesn’t end when September 30th does. Every child matters. Every story matters. And remembrance should never be just one day a year. 🧡”
