Skin Tip Tuesday

Did you know that washing your face with hot water could be doing more harm than good? Over time, regularly using water that’s too hot can contribute to:

Dehydration – increased moisture loss, leaving skin feeling tight and uncomfortable.
Sensitivity – a weakened skin barrier can make your skin more reactive to skincare products.
Redness – heat causes blood vessels to dilate, which can worsen facial redness, particularly if you’re prone to rosacea.
Dryness & flakiness – stripping away natural oils can leave skin feeling rough and flaky.

MY TOP TIP: Always cleanse with lukewarm water, use a gentle cleanser and apply your moisturiser while your skin is still slightly damp to help lock in hydration.
