Six years.

It’s hard to put into words what that means to me.

Six years ago, The King’s Razor opened its doors with a simple goal: to create a barbershop built on quality, tradition, and taking genuine pride in the work.

Since then, thousands of haircuts, conversations, laughs, long days, and friendships have filled this shop. And through every year, you have continued to trust me with your time and your business.

For a small, independently owned barbershop, that trust means everything.

To every person who has sat in my chair, recommended the shop to a friend, shared a post, left a review, or simply kept coming back—thank you.

You didn’t just support a business. You allowed me to build a life doing something I genuinely love.

Today, The King’s Razor celebrates six years in business, and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make those six years possible.

Here’s to what we’ve built—and to many more years ahead.

Price Update Notice – The Kings Razor

Beginning in October, there will be a slight adjustment to service pricing at The Kings Razor.

Updated pricing will be as follows:

* Haircut: $35
* Beard Trim: $35
* Razor Fade: $60
* Haircut + Beard: $60
* Haircut + Shave: $60
* Haircut + Beard + Shave: $85

This adjustment reflects rising operating costs while ensuring continued quality, time, and attention to detail in every service.

A Little More Context

I wanted to be transparent about why I’ve made this decision. I’ve not changed my prices in over two years, while the cost of operating the shop has continued to increase.

Before making this decision, I looked at several options.

I considered increasing my operating hours. However, I’m already working long hours, and adding additional hours isn’t a sustainable solution.

I’ve also considered bringing on other barbers. I’ve actively worked toward doing this for many years, but unfortunately, it simply hasn’t been a viable option for The Kings Razor.

I also considered requiring deposits for all appointments. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows can have a significant impact on the business, and deposits would help protect against that lost time.

After weighing those options, I felt that this adjustment was the best choice. It keeps the change as reasonable as possible for my clients while allowing The Kings Razor to continue operating at the level of quality and service I strive to provide.

I know that any price increase is an adjustment, and I truly appreciate everyone who has supported The Kings Razor and allowed me to continue doing what I love.
