A little about the woman behind NOVA 🤍

I’m Kaya, a hairstylist, founder of NOVA Beauty Lounge and a proud mom.

Originally from Poland, I grew up with five brothers and one sister. Being part of a big family taught me to stand my ground, care for others and appreciate having people around me. Those values are still a big part of who I am today.

As a single mom and business owner, I wear many hats. Building NOVA meant designing the space myself, investing in my vision, and working through the countless decisions that brought it to life. From coordinating construction to choosing the smallest finishes, I put so much of myself into this space.

Today, I’m an owner, mentor, team leader, supportive friend and still the stylist behind the chair. After more than 17 years, I continue to love creating beautiful color, seamless extensions and hair that suits the person wearing it. Helping other stylists grow their skills and confidence has become another rewarding part of my work.

That same attention to detail is behind NOVA Pro Hair Extensions. Quality is always my focus, from how the hair feels and blends to how it wears over time. I’m continually learning, testing and refining what I offer my clients.

My proudest role is being mom to my 16 year-old son, Niko ❤️ You’ll find me cheering him on at football games, supporting his dreams and watching with pride as he finds his own path. I’ll always be his biggest supporter.

Outside of work, I’m happiest spending time with the people I love, being in nature, traveling or getting lost in house music. I love the energy of a good night out, but quiet moments and a sense of inner peace mean just as much to me.

Along the way, I’ve met so many wonderful people. Friends have become family, and clients have become close friends. What started as a hair appointment has often turned into years of conversations, laughter and showing up for one another.
