Tox 101: How Does It Actually Work?

Let’s talk about one of the most popular treatments in aesthetics: neurotoxins!

Neurotoxins, such as Botox, Daxxify, and Letybo, work by temporarily blocking nerve signals to targeted muscles, allowing those muscles to relax. This helps soften fine lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive facial expressions like smiling, squinting, and frowning.

What can neurotoxins help with?

* Forehead lines
* Frown lines between the eyebrows (the “11s”)
* Crow’s feet around the eyes
* Certain other concerns, such as a gummy smile or jaw tension, when clinically appropriate

Hi everyone!

First, I want to thank you all so much for the likes, shares, and warm welcome! I truly appreciate all the love and support. I also cannot thank Ashley enough for trusting me to carry on the GOLD brand and everything she has worked so hard to build. I’m so excited for this new chapter and the opportunity to continue growing my business, introducing new services, and continuing to offer the services and products that Ashley has poured her heart and soul into.

For those of you who don’t know me, I wanted to share a little bit about myself!

My name is Kellie Manes. I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with independent practice authority. I have always had a passion for women’s health, and over the past couple of years, I’ve discovered just how much I love aesthetics and wellness. I truly enjoy helping people feel their best, and I’m so thankful to have the opportunity to focus my practice on something I’m so passionate about.

Outside of work, I have an amazing husband and a 7-year-old daughter who keep me busy! In my free time, I love spending time with my family, taking Ranger rides down to the creek, and curling up with a good book.

To those of you I already know, thank you for continuing to support me and my business. And to those I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet, I look forward to getting to know you and being a part of your wellness journey!

I’m so excited to officially introduce you to Kellie Manes, the new owner of GOLD Infusions!

It’s a bittersweet feeling to hand over something I’ve poured so much of my heart into, but there’s also something incredibly special about knowing it will continue to live on. While this chapter is closing for me, I’m so grateful that GOLD’s story doesn’t end here.

I hope you’ll all continue to show Kellie the same love and support you’ve shown me over the years. I’m cheering her on and can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds!

I’ve written this post a hundred times in my head, and somehow, now that the time has come, I still don’t quite know how to put it into words. This is harder than I ever imagined it would be.

When I opened Gold Infusions in 2022, I had a dream, a whole lot of determination, and no idea just how much this little business would change my life.

Gold Infusions was my baby. I built it from the ground up, poured my heart into it, and then somewhere along the way, I had two real babies of my own

And as much as I have loved this chapter of my life, after a lot of prayer and thought, I truly feel God is leading me into the next one.

What I will miss most isn’t the business itself, but the people. I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many incredible patients, many of whom have become more like family. Getting to know you, listening to your stories, offering advice, walking alongside you in your health journeys, and actually seeing the difference we’ve been able to make has been one of my favorite parts.

To every single person who walked through my doors, trusted me with their care, encouraged me, referred a friend, or simply supported this dream of mine — I cannot thank you enough. You made Gold Infusions what it is, and I will forever be grateful.

Closing this chapter is bittersweet. I’m proud of what I’ve built, grateful for everything it’s taught me, and a little emotional thinking about the girl who opened those doors four years ago. Everything has happened so quickly, and I honestly wasn’t sure the tears would come. But here I am, writing this with tears in my eyes. I guess you don’t build something from nothing, pour years of your life into it, and walk away without leaving a little piece of your heart behind.

I’ve learned that sometimes following God’s plan means having the courage to start something, and sometimes it means having the courage to let it go.

While my time as the owner of Gold Infusions is coming to an end, the business itself isn’t going anywhere. I’m so thankful that something I’ve worked so hard to build will have the opportunity to continue under new ownership.

To the girl who took that leap of faith in 2022, I’m so glad you did.
And to every single person who has been a part of this chapter, thank you!

Here’s to trusting God’s timing, even when goodbye is hard.
