Body Specific

Caring for a new baby brings many changes, and your body deserves care and support, too.

Postnatal therapeutic massage can help relieve muscle aches, reduce tension, and ease physical fatigue as you recover after childbirth. Baby is welcome during your session, and skin-to-skin contact is encouraged so you can care for yourself while staying close to your little one.

Available up to 12 weeks postpartum. Call or book online to schedule your appointment.

Happy anniversary Gracie Mutuku!

Gracie, a member of our Front Desk Support team, loves getting to know our clients and being part of the welcoming, supportive environment at Body Specific. And when it comes to her favorite service? Facials, of course! She’s also grown more confident in connecting with clients and adapting to whatever the day brings.

We’re so happy to have Gracie as part of the Body Specific team! 💙

Such a fun day at Taste of Lawrence! 💙 We loved seeing so many familiar faces and connecting with our amazing community. Thanks to the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce for hosting such a great event!

We’re celebrating 2 years with Jomar, one of our massage therapists who brings a thoughtful, intentional approach to his work.

What does he love most about Body Specific? His clients and coworkers—“all are awesome people.” 💙

His favorite service to receive? Sarga Body Work.

Jomar was inspired to become a massage therapist after experiencing a deep tissue massage following a sports injury—and seeing firsthand how much it helped him regain his range of motion.

These days, he’s diving deeper into subtle fascial work, exploring longer effleurage strokes and holds.

And one of the biggest things this work has taught him? How to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Happy 2-year anniversary, Jomar! We’re so glad you’re part of the Body Specific team.

Mark your calendars! Our Client Appreciation Event is coming up November 12th, and we can’t wait to celebrate YOU! Enjoy complimentary services, gifts, raffle prizes, special savings, and more. It’s our way of saying thank you for being part of the Body Specific family.

More details coming soon — you won’t want to miss it! ✨

🎉 Happy Birthday, Chloe!

We’re so lucky to have Chloe keeping things running at the front desk and bringing her friendly energy to Body Specific!

When she’s not here, she’s happiest snuggled up with her husband and girls, enjoying a good cup of coffee (or sweet treat 😉), cooking something delicious, or singing her heart out to Bohemian Rhapsody.

Help us wish Chloe a very happy birthday! We hope your day is as wonderful as you are!

More ways to feel your best, all in one place!
