BEAUTIFUL SKIN ISN’T ABOUT DOING MORE… IT’S ABOUT DOING WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOUR SKIN!
Sometimes the treatment you think you need isn't the treatment your skin actually needs.
Recently, Francesca visited Embrace Beauty requesting a deep chemical peel. Her concern? Dark patches caused by sun exposure, and her goal was a brighter, more even complexion.
But here's where education and professional skincare make all the difference!

Skin with more melanin (naturally darker skin tones) can be more prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). This means aggressive treatments, including certain chemical peels, can actually trigger MORE dark spots rather than correct them!
Chemical peels aren't necessarily off-limits for darker skin tones, but the type, strength, and preparation matter tremendously.
So instead of jumping straight into a deep peel, we listened, assessed, and educated.
After evaluating her skin, our esthetician recommended a different approach:

✔️Gentle extractions to address congestion.
✔️LED light therapy to support her overall skincare goals without unnecessary irritation.

With over 10 years of beauty experience, Carrie Anne brings lots of knowledge and creativity to Embrace! From skincare to makeup, she loves helping people look and feel their best. She's also a talented face & body painter with a love for theatrical makeup!
Meet Kylene - Owner of Embrace Beauty.
With a background in healthcare, education, and salon ownership, she’s always loved taking care of people. When she’s not making clients feel beautiful, she’s probably off camping or at the beach.
Meet Madi - Manicurist Apprentice.
Madi is our dog and country-music-loving girl with a creative side! Between school, grooming, and doing nails, she definitely stays busy. When she's not working, you'll find her with Ranger (her service dog) traveling, camping, or line dancing!
Meet Linda - Henna Artist.
Our creative girl with a whole lot of talents! She's studying cosmetology and loves bringing her artistic side to life through henna. And when she's not doing that, you might find her practicing Kung Fu or flying through the air with the circus!
