Schedule update! As many of you know, I'm currently in school to become a licensed Electrologist (Electrolysis is an amazing method of permanent hair removal) and this month I'm heading into my hands-on practical hours at the school which will go through (estimated) March 2027. Until I've completed my school hours the studio will be open 3 days per week - Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, 11am to 7pm.

Have a preferred day and time? I highly recommend pre-booking a few appointments to get the best spot! The online booking system is showing all open times through December and the calendar fills up quickly around the holidays.

Big news! I’ve officially started school to become an Electrologist!

Electrolysis is a method of permanent hair removal that treats each hair follicle individually. A very fine filament is inserted into the follicle, and a small amount of energy is used to stop future hair growth.

Unlike laser, electrolysis can be used on all skin tones and hair colors, including blonde, red, gray, and white hair. It can be especially helpful for facial hair, hormonal hair growth, stubborn hairs that laser didn’t fully remove, and gender-affirming hair removal.

This has been a goal of mine for a long time, and I’m so excited to bring this specialized service to Isla Esthetics.

It's supposed to be 80 degrees today! ☀️ I know that many of you are going to be trying to get outside for any reason you can (me too!), but remember that aside from a few breaks in the PNW gloom your skin has been in winter hibernation since at least October and YOU NEED SPF.
