mistakes that make your color fade faster 👇
1. washing too soon after your appointment | wait at least 48 hours, the cuticle needs time to seal
2. hot water | it opens the cuticle and strips color, always rinse cool
3. skipping color-safe shampoo | regular shampoo has sulfates that strip pigment fast
4. no UV protection | sun exposure fades color just like it fades fabric
5. heat styling without protectant | this dries out color-treated hair and dulls tone

Save this you’ll actually use it 👇🏼
1. Skipping the cold air at the end. That cold blast is what makes your hair shiny. Skip it and your hair looks dull, even if the rest was done right.
2. Pulling too hard with the brush. If your hair is fine or damaged, pulling tight can snap it.
3. Blow-drying hair that’s still dripping. Wet hair breaks easier. Let it dry a bit first so it’s just damp, not soaked. It’ll dry faster too.
4. Drying your hair in random directions. Your hair likes to lay one way, down, toward the ends. Dry it any other way and you’ll get frizz.
5. Using the wrong size brush. Too small for long hair and you can’t smooth it out. Too big for short hair and you can’t control it. Match the brush to your length.
6. Trying to dry it all at once. Split your hair into sections. Otherwise the hair underneath stays wet even when the top looks done and that’s why it falls flat fast.
7. Holding the dryer too close or too long in one spot. That’s what actually damages your hair. Keep it moving and a few inches back.
