Leaux Maintenance Skin Studio is getting ready to celebrate its 8th Birthday and the studio is currently going through a little renovation. I can’t wait to celebrate 8 years with you all!

A facial isn’t going to magically solve all your problems and make everything right in the world. I wont even try to sell you that 🐂💩

But let’s talk nervous system regulation real quick.
To put its simply it’s your body’s ability to handle stressful situations and then return to it’s normal state. A lot of us aren’t capable of this because we’re always on go and on the next thing. Much like your car your mind and body require maintenance.

As your esthetician I can honestly say what a facial can do is reset your energy, ground you, give you that “woosah” moment you’ve needed. The glowy skin is the metaphorical cherry on top 🍒

Don’t get me wrong. I’m a DIY girlie myself, but in an arts and crafts type of way. Not in a mixing lemon juice with baking soda and putting it on my armpits type of way. Skin care should be left a professional.

As an esthetician, I have studied, tested, and gained licensure (repeatedly) to provide quality skincare services that YouTube university just can’t match. (no shade YTU we love you boo!)

Beyond the risk of broken hairs, burns, and other injuries let’s be real there’s nothing like having a service done well by a professional. Yes, we’ve all done the at home pedicure in a crunch but it just doesn’t hit the same. We all need one less thing on our plate. Let me take this one thing off yours.

I’m blessed to have one of the coolest jobs in the world! I literally get to come to work and make people feel beautiful, relaxed, seen, and regulated.

I always say today I’m going to record content and then I get distracted!

To be completely honest, I’m usually way too focused on work or having such a good time with my client that I completely forget that I am supposed to be recording the experience!

Sometimes all we need is five minutes to ourselves. No one asking us anything. No one needing us. Nowhere to rush to. Imagine if you had that five minutes times 12.

I mean it really ask yourself what would that do for you?

There’s a country so that says “money, can’t buy happiness, but it can buy me a boat”

And honestly, I feel him on that. Do I want a boat? No but I do want to help you take time for yourself and achieve your skin goals.
