My beautiful clients are making their way into the salon after a Summer of braids. Listen, I love braids but the hair should be prepped before a braid service, and restored when the braids are taken out.

Most of my clients are good about maintaining their haircare while wearing braids. So when they return, it’s like business as usual… beautiful hair.

Yes, the hair is dehydrated and yes it will take a few weeks of additional TLC to get the hair back on track. As long as my clients are doing their part (and most are) their hair will be fine.

Moisturize restoration after braids consist of..
1. Treatments
2. Deep conditioning
3. Haircut/“Trim”
4. Weekly “Wash days”
5. Protecting the hair while sleeping
6. Minimum heat applications (blow drying/curling)
7. Going to see a knowledgeable, professional hairstylist AND LISTEN TO THEMMMM!!!!!

Here’s Part 1 of my ÖFUURË (O-fu-ray) haul. I did have a few people ask if I was happy with my purchases. I absolutely am! The quality and a the sizing is A1. Like most structured pieces (no stretch), you may need some tailoring. My advice for women shaped similarly to me? Size up and then get it taken in. From my experience, everything is true to size and “oversized”, means just that.

My shopping experience has always been a 10/10. I’ve shopped their resort wear in the past and snagged 3 pieces of swimwear during the Pop-Up. Swim bottoms however, runs a lil small on ME. I usually get a size 2X in thongs and a 3X in full coverage/cheeky.

All in all, if you’ve been eyeing but you’re afraid to pull the trigger… Girl, just order. You’ll love it.
