I bought her YAP Challenge back in JUNE and didn’t actually start it until THIS WEEK. Four months later. How ADHD of me. 🤣

And now here I am, making my first real yap video!

I’ve spent the last year sharing beauty tips, makeup and hair tutorials, and all the DIY beauty things, but somewhere along the way I think I forgot that I can just get on here and TALK to you guys.

So here I am, trying something new and trying to get a little more comfortable just being myself on the internet. (fake it til ya make it, right?!)

Don’t worry, the DIY beauty tutorials aren’t going anywhere! I just want to share a little more of the person behind them. The real life stuff, the things I’m figuring out as I go, and probably a whole lot of random s**t nobody asked about.

I’ve been doing my own brow lamination for a while now, (honestly, wish I had started sooner!) and I’m telling you, it’s SO much easier than you think! And saving the money I’d spend getting them done professionally? Say no more!

So we’re starting with my hair empties! Some of these I’ve repurchased over and over, and others…well, they were alright, but I’m not running out to buy them again.

I’ve also got a ridiculous amount of makeup and skincare empties, so those are coming next! Because I’ve just been collecting trash for months and it’s time to throw it away!

Another week of DIY beauty maintenance!

Listen, I LOVE a good beauty appointment as much as the next girl, but HELLO…have you seen what everything costs these days?!

I’ve learned to do more and more of my own beauty maintenance over the years, and honestly, I love my little DIY days. Throw on some music or a good documentary, do my nails, lashes, hair treatments, a little self tan…AND save myself a few hundred bucks in the process? YES PLEASE.

And obviously we gotta finish it off with some makeup and good hair because sometimes you just need to look in the mirror and be like OKAY GIRL, THERE SHE IS!

Now don’t get me wrong, there are still a few things I’ll GLADLY pay someone else to do. Haha! (I won’t be canceling my pedicures any time soon! 😜)
