💡 BUSINESS TIP TUESDAY #12: Stop Guessing, Start Tracking! 📊

Your business made good sales today, so you're feeling rich… until it's time to restock tomorrow. 💸

Sound familiar?

Knowing how much money comes in is important but knowing how much goes out is just as important!

📒 Keep track of your sales, expenses, stock purchases, and other business costs. These simple habits can help you understand your business performance and make smarter decisions.

Remember, business money isn't disappearing by magic. Sometimes, it just needs better record keeping!

Stronger Cohorts, Stronger Communities! 🇼🇸

Yesterday’s monthly Business Cohort Meetings with our Gaga‘emauga and Gagaifomauga cohorts in Savai‘i provided an opportunity to connect with members and recognise their progress.

SBH acknowledges the support provided through the Australian High Commission in Samoa’s MALO Grants, with technical assistance from SBH throughout the application process. Through these grants, members have received agricultural tools, sewing machines and other essential equipment to support their business activities.

These practical resources are helping members strengthen their businesses, develop their skills and expand income-generating opportunities.

We look forward to continuing our work alongside these cohorts as they grow their businesses and contribute to stronger communities.

Samoa Business Hub (SBH) was pleased to host the October 2026 Samoa Association of Manufacturers and Exporters - SAME Members Meeting, bringing members together for insightful discussions, knowledge-sharing, and opportunities to strengthen Samoa’s business and export sectors.

We were honoured to feature the following speakers:

🔹 Unasa Atuaisaute Misipati, CEO of Samoa Business Hub, shared valuable insights on opportunities to build business capacity and support the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises.

🔹 Taalolo Ainuu, from the Production & Business Development Division of SROS, highlighted the Global Breadfruit Summit 2026 and the opportunities it presents.

At SBH, we believe that collaboration and knowledge-sharing are key to empowering local businesses, strengthening partnerships, and creating new pathways for growth. Together, we continue working towards a stronger and more competitive business sector for Samoa! 🇼🇸

Our Cohort Meetings are still underway, and we look forward to connecting with our remaining cohorts! 🌱💼

These sessions are an opportunity to catch up on important updates, discuss ongoing initiatives, follow up on progress, and learn more about the support and opportunities available through Samoa Business Hub (SBH).

Day one of our Cohort Meetings across Upolu and Savai‘i provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with our cohorts, share important updates, discuss ongoing initiatives, and follow up on progress.

A big fa‘afetai tele lava to all our participants for your time and continued commitment! We look forward to meeting with our remaining cohorts and continuing to work together towards new opportunities and stronger business outcomes.✨

Supporting our vendors, one step at a time!

Samoa Business Hub is wrapping up the final round of Mentoring & Coaching sessions for selected vendors under the Fin-Tech Literacy Programme in Upolu! 🇼🇸

From checking tablet records to answering questions, we continue to support our vendors in strengthening their digital and financial skills for business growth. 💪📊

Following our visits in Savai'i last month, we are kicking off our last set of Mentoring & Coaching sessions with selected vendors across Phases 1 to 4 of Fin-Tech Literacy in Upolu marking the final activity for this component before the project officially concludes.

Our team will be on the ground throughout this week checking tablet records, answering questions, and supporting our vendors right at their stalls.
