Its been 'a week' 🤪
Between ceilings falling in, awol deliveries, the arrival of my classical equipment and straining my finger, it feels like I need to make some room to breathe.

We all have weeks like that, don't we? Where it just feels like you dont know whether youre coming or going.
So, im going to make myself a nice dinner and sit down with the dog and the tv or a book and chill out a bit.
🤕
Tomorrow, I have some physio for my pesky arm and a 1:1 with my classical instructor, Michaela Windsor because teachers need teachers too. Plus, I know that spending some time on my own Pilates Practice will give me some clarity.

What hasn't changed this week though, is my clients showing up for themselves and working hard whether on the mat or equipment. Or looking after themselves by showing up on the treatment couch.

One of the main concerns I hear from people is that Sports Massage is super painful and really hurts. NOT TRUE!

Sports Massage is a more targeted treatment and can sometimes be uncomfortable, but in many cases, less equals more. It shoulder never be super painful to the point where you are screaming or crying. I'm sure we have all seen at least one social media video of someone jumping off massage tables screaming in pain. THIS IS NOT HOW WE WORK!

I'm not going to sit here and say it will be completely pain-free like a spa massage, but we work with the body to help release tension, working with the muscles and soft tissue, rather than using brute force and ignorance. And we will always ease off, if you ask us to. Our treatments combine various techniques such as Soft Tissue Release and Muscle Energy Techniques to allow the muscles to give which can feel great.
